The ingredients needed to make Pita Bread:
  1. Get 3 cups flour
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp sugar
  3. Prepare 1 tsp salt
  4. Get 1 cup warm water
  5. Get 1/4 cup oil/ butter

Instructions to make Pita Bread:
  1. Add warm water into a bowl, sprinkle yeast cover and allow to sit for 5 min
  2. Sift flour, add salt, milk and mix.
  3. Make a hole in the flour add the yeast water and mix
  4. Now add the oil, continue to mix to form a dough
  5. Knead dough for about 10 min
  6. Cover and place in an oiled bowl cover and allow to rise for 1 hour
  7. Once dough has rise punch it and knead again for about 5 min divide the dough into 8 balls of equal size.
  8. Roll each dough thinly and bake
  9. Bake each side of the dough for a second or two. Remove and place in a plate covered with kitchen towel.
  10. Once finished proceed with making shawarma or serve it plain with some nalli nihari, curry or peppersoups. Enjoy
