The ingredients needed to make Chicken mandi:
- Prepare whole chicken, Mandi size
- Get Mandi masala
- Get Ginger, garlic paste
- Get Green chilli
- Get Lemon
- Make ready Basmati rice
- Take Onion
- Take Red food colour
- Take Turmeric powder
- Prepare Oil
Instructions to make Chicken mandi:
- First take a chicken rub the chicken in Mandi masala 2tbsp, oil 3 tbsp, salt according to your taste and lemon juice.keep it aside.
- In pressure cooker add 6 tbsp oil and add sliced onions fry well until oil seprate.
- Then add green chilli paste 3 tbsp, ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp, 1 tbsp Mandi masala, fry well.
- Then add marinate chicken in pressure cooker cook in 3 whistle,cool down completely
- Then separate the chicken in other bowl, keep aside
- Do not throw chicken boiled water which was in cooker
- Use the boiled chicken water to cook basmati rice…..
- In other bowl take some Mandi masala 2 tbsp, oil 5 tbsp,salt according to your taste, red food colour, lemon juice 3tbsp
- Take the boiled chicken and marinate the mixture
- In pan add butter fry the marinate chicken
- Take the chicken and place it above the basmati rice then close the lid of the pot…. For sometime.
